New Venture Challenge Focuses on Innovation for Sun Devil Athletics January 11, 2021 Tempe, Arizona - Sun Devil Athletics, the Global Sport Institute, and the J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute at Arizona State University, have announced a new initiative -- the Sun Devil Athletics’ Venture Challenge.

The New Venture Challenge (NVC), CU Boulder's premier, cross-campus entrepreneurial program and competition, connects the CU Boulder campus with the Boulder community to develop and fund innovative ideas. Participants attend year-round events, network and collaborate with mentors to refine their ideas and form startup teams to pitch for funding (up to $100,000!) at the NVC Championships. The Burgess New Venture Challenge promotes entrepreneurship, leadership, and innovation at Michigan State University. The competition identifies strong Spartan startups, provides mentorship and team development workshops, and culminates in a year-end showcase event. 2021's virtual event launches April 1, 2021.
